Why we built this
Most Markdown converters are buried inside larger apps, require an account, or send your text to a server just to render a preview. We wanted something simpler: paste or type Markdown, see the HTML instantly, and copy it out. No sign-up, no uploads, no waiting.
How it works
Markdown to HTML runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Conversion, sanitization and the live preview all happen on your device. Your drafts are saved to your browser's local storage so they're there when you come back, and nothing is transmitted to our servers. See our privacy page for details.
